Drivers Call For Extension For Vehicle Inspections

Today marks the end of the five-month moratorium to allow drivers to get their vehicles tested. Come January 1st, the fine for driving a vehicle that has not been inspected would be increased to $5,000. This will apply to private vehicles that have been manufactured over five years and commercial/goods vehicles that have been manufactured two years or more without a valid inspection certificate or with an expired sticker. As Marie Hull tells us, some drivers want an added extension.
