After planting and caring for the crop for the last 5 months now comes the time to bring in the combine harvester. How tough is it to earn a living? Total crop was worth 36,000 Baht (that's about $1,100) - costs totaled approx 20,000 Baht so 16,000 Baht remaining. We decided to keep some for food and sold the rest which was 8,000 baht .... So ... 8,000 baht income for 5 months work which is approx $235.00. Well I did say it was tough making a living here!
