He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics, according to a report by TMZ . It is believed he died from a drug overdose. Miller, real name Malcolm James McCormick, was notably linked to the singer Ariana Grande, who ended their two year relationship back in May. Twelve hours before his body was found, Miller was sharing videos on his Instagram account from inside his home. They showed a turntable which played his song So It Goes. His death comes a day after the publication of an interview he gave to Vulture in which he described feeling 'pressure' from his fame and his struggle with depression.
