Quick and Cheap Rim Paint Job - Here's how I made a Quick and Cheap Rim Paint Job on my stealth camper van. The rim paint job isn't the prettiest, but it was cheap and looks fine. I recently had my front brakes done (Thanks, Justine!) and we decided to leave off the hub caps because they were rather bad looking and I only had a set of 2. I decided to paint the tire rims black so they would all match, but I didn't have the time, equipment nor patience to do the job "right." However, I think the results of my $8 one-hour paint job came out pretty decent. :)
