Shiroda locals have demanded to reinstate Dr Vijeta Naik to Shiroda PHC. Locals are irked over Health Department’s decision of sending Dr Vijeta to Cansaulim. Around 30 locals gathered outside PHC gate creating chaos and have warned to stage protest if Dr Vijeta is not brought back. However, Shiroda PHC health officer has stated that Dr. Vijeta is not transferred but, deputed to Cansaulim just for 15 days only.
