After the sun has set, and the lights have gone down, there's no telling what awaits the unsuspecting sleeper.

Ryan Satterfield has just entered his sophomore year at Rimtale High and has gotten off to a rocky start. The new guy is a cunning athlete that threatens his stellar record on the basketball court, and the girl he likes will be watching their big game. Meanwhile, outside the classroom, the world's finest engineers have crafted an omniscient machine that has taken an uncanny interest in him.

But his daytime dilemmas will be the least of his worries. At night when he lies fast asleep he discovers a new universe in turmoil. A people from a remote galaxy are scouring the lands in search of the fabled Dreamer's World. For millennia, it has been regarded as an ancient myth, a gateway between the two sides. Now it's the cause of a great war. Being caught in the mix, Ryan must now find a way to prevail against the terror that will haunt him each and every night during his sleepless slumbers.
