NEW YORK, September 24, 2018 — A crucial step in improving global education is figuring out what works in a local context — and making sure good ideas can spread from one place to the next. This idea is fully explored in the new report Investing in Knowledge Sharing to Advance SDG 4, co-authored by the Center for Global Education at Asia Society, Results for Development, Teach for All, the Boston Consulting Group, and World Innovation Summit for Education.

In talks and a panel discussion held over breakfast, high-level experts in global education discuss the report's findings. Following welcoming remarks by Josette Sheeran, the Lulu and Anthony Wang president and CEO of Asia Society and an introduction by Dr. Liesbet Steer, director of the Education Commission, Lane McBride of the Boston Consulting Group provides an overview of the report. Wendy Kopp of Teach for All then moderates a discussion featuring Eliza Erikson of the Omidyar Network; Randa Grob-Zakhary, board member of the Global Partnership of Education; Baela Raza Jamil, member of the Education Commission; and Brodie Vansleve of the BHP Foundation.
