Lots of projection and bright overtones make this a great ensemble instrument. The cutaway is great for playing slide. This is one someone is going to have to save me from buying, it is sweet! I really like the aged look, it was expertly done and is totally breathtaking. The tone is exactly what I want when I am playing blues and bottle neck, plenty of punch and growl, nothing short of perfect. - http://www.dreamguitars.com/products/national_resophonic/national_resophonic_style_3_replicon_tricone_19871/national_resophonic_style_3_replicon_tricone_19871.php
