3D IS FASTER THAN 2D!!! SCIENCE!!! ^_^

By jumping off of the first rail at the right time, I retain my 3D properties even though I am entering a 2D section (the scripted running allows me to navigate the turn after jumping off the rail). For those of you who are not in the know, 3D Sonic is faster than 2D Sonic. Being faster in combination with skipping a decent chunk of the 2D section allows me to get a time of sub 50 seconds. The trick to not dying for the majority of that 2D section is to simply not use the control stick at all, as you are perfectly aligned with the 2D route. Instead, only use jumps and boosts to navigate the 2D section up until the point where the skip is performed (which is really the only hard part of the run). Enjoy! ^_^
