Goa Mining People’s Front has decided to meet Union leaders to discuss mining crisis in Goa. GMPF has informed that their delegation will meet Union Minister Suresh Prabhu requesting him to take appropriate steps towards restarting mining. Union Minister Suresh Prabhu is in the group of five Union Ministers for mining. They will further seek appointment of Union Mines ministry and Law ministry. GMPF President Puti Gaonkar has informed that the delegation will request Union Ministers to resolve issue before Lok Sabha elections.
