IDAHO FALLS — An east Idaho location is still scaring for DARE in a popular eerie location, but under a different name and ownership. This Halloween season locals are visiting a new haunted attraction called Planet Doom. The building on 1st street formally held Dr. Slaughter’s House of Terror for 18 years. When the old Dr. Slaughters closed in April, brothers Brent and Brian Wilson began renovations for Planet Doom. Over the summer the 32,000 square foot building was transformed with modern effects and dynamic lighting for an enhanced fright.
