Another NEW UPDATE: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mbzmATWVDP8 NEW UPDATE: For those who don't know Shawn's full story you may like xxxThePeachxxx's series explaining his history on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qLnab8FA9tk LATE UPDATE: As a lot of you already know, the VFX story wasn't quite over with Venom leaving YouTube. When he left he apparently left a video that accused dprJones of Pedophilia: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_h5_t8V4I2g http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WDXraup5O2M --- I rushed this video into production hoping to catch Venom before he left, but I'm too late. VenomFangX has left YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TUD13rNvQnI This video is pretty jumbled and disorganized but I'm uploading it anyway as my goodbye to VenomFangX. No use wasting all my efforts, and it's kind of nice to know I won't have deal with any BS responses from him. Consider this video as notes for a longer blog post about morality I'll write in the future, and probably without reference to Venom. Please feel free to comment and criticize and help me develop my ideas. If Venom really got chased off YouTube by threats to his family (which I don't believe) then that really sucks. That is the worst form of censorship. In spite of the fact that threatening someone is despicable, trying to cure it by blaming dprJones' videos was insane. It was really screwy cause and effect reasoning. What I think really happened is that Venom painted himself into a corner by using those supposed threats to his family as an excuse for his DMCA filing. He had to leave YouTube to keep from being exposed as a liar. We may have disliked him, but Venom was a really great example of screwy Christian thinking and he probably did more to help the cause of spreading atheism than to hurt it. I also need to thank some people whose audio tracks I clipped into this, first ZOMGitsCriss's video response to VenomFangX's video "Right and Wrong," called "On Right and Wrong, to VFX": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=anPLO_dfu7s This is VenomFangX's "Right and Wrong": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EjA9184-_hM I thought Criss's response was so good it anticipated VenomFangX's response to the other critics he tried to dismiss in his video "Moral Relativism is Evil": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-4xudKH1jn0 I edited in Criss's comments as if she were responding to VenomFangX's more recent video, "Moral Relativism is Evil," in order to demonstrate just how well her criticisms anticipated VenomFangX's response. I also used the audio track from dprJones, "VenomFangX gets DMCA happy - again!": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o8NcnjbD3bU And gothatfunk's "Open Letter to VenomFangX": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1E6NXCDKz3U
