http://www.vernissage.tv | New York-based artist Sarah Oppenheimer is known for her spectacular architectural interventions with which she surprises the visitors of galleries, museums and art fairs. D-33 is Sarah Oppenheimer's most recent piece. It transforms the exhibition space of the gallery P.P.O.W. in New York City by using aluminum, glass, light, and the existing architecture. It links the six discreet rooms of the gallery, playing with the visual and physical distance experienced by the viewer. This video provides you with an exhibition walk-through on the opening night, and Sarah Oppenheimer explains the concept of the work.

On September 28, 2012, there's a panel at P.P.O.W. in conjunction with D-33 by Sarah Oppenheimer. The panel, which will explore the potential of a typology of architectural absence is called Typology of Void. The panelists are Nana Last, David Reinfurt, and Sarah Oppenheimer. It will be moderated by Srdjan Jovanovic Weiss.

In late November 2012 another architectural intervention of Sarah Oppenheimer will open at the Baltimore Museum of Art. Upcoming exhibits include solo shows at the Wall House in the Netherlands; Duve Berlin, Germany, and Site Sante Fe, New Mexico.
