Here's my Quick Look at Retro City Rampage, an 8-bit Grand Theft Auto style indie game by VBlank Entertainment / Brian Provinciano. RCR doesn't take itself seriously at all, and is filled with spoofs and parodies of all things 80s and 90s (games, tv, movies, etc.). This includes game elements that resemble old games, such as Contra, Frogger, and Paperboy.

Overall it's both fun and very unique, although I haven't been able to see enough of the game to determine if there's $15 worth of content in the game. RCR is currently on sale at launch week though at a $13.49 price point (10% off).
