Here is video #3 shot on Feb 7 2011. Some major changes to my tank. I had a diseased fish get in my tank, and by the time things were under control, I lost 4 fish. I was not happy to loose 2 of my oldest fish, my percula clown, and clarke clown, plus a green chromis, and the original carrier as far as I could tell, the anthias that is in earlier videos. One of the heads on the Frogspawn also died, but the other 2 are doing fine. Since then, things are back to normal. I have added a new Clarke, Coral Beauty angel, A Coral Chromis (thats the large blue one with black fins) and a large cleaner wrass. The cleaner wrass was a good decision, because he eats parasites that live of the skin and scales of other fish. After the out break, which I am assuming was ich as even though I only ever saw 1 wite spot on the fin of one of the fish that died (and treatment in a hospital tank did not help) my big blue tang was being bothered by something as he was constantly rubbing up against the rocks for weeks. Put in the wrass, and immedietely the wrass started swiming along side and picking off parasites. No more scratching, and "big blue" is happy again. The trouble with many cleaner fish is once the parasites are gone they starve, but again, I believe I am ok, as this one eats mysis like they are going out of style. My manderan and pipe fish are not seen in this video, but let me assure you that they are doing just fine, as is the banded coral shrimp and cleaner shrimp, they are just hiding. I just yesterday added a phosphate reactor to the sump, so by the next video I expect all that algea on the rocks and sand bed to be gone. Enjoy.
