Light painting tutorials: https://lightpainting.art/tutorials Light painting tubes: https://lightpainting.store Additional gear: https://lightpainting.art/gear Xangle Studio: https://xangleStudio.com I got a major sunburn from the previous day during the roadtrip. We lost an entire day because of this, but I got back on track and we've been able to create a few interesting images on the next night. I'm not sure how we manage to hide this, but even during that night of light-painting, I was in major pain and was moving so slowly. But hey, when the passion is there.......? :P The main topic we decided to talk about is how to travel with the tubes. This is a question that has been coming up a few times in the group, so I thought it would be a good thing to talk about it. Basically, you can not bring the tubes as a carry-on, you need to check it, and have enough weight inside of it. The bag that I was using back then was a light-stand pouch that is not available anymore, but I designed my own that is fully adapted for the tubes and accessories ( https://shop.ericpare.com ) Tomorrow we'll spend the night at a mirador near San Pedro and we'll talk about how we manage to find the right brightness for the tube (episode 104) ----------- About this series: going to the Atacama desert was a dream for us. We knew we would go there one day, but things suddenly rushed out when Audi Canada invited us to go there. We spent a week in the cold winter of the desert to play with the tubes and the stars --- About the Tube Stories We're a dancer/photographer duo making our way using a tube, a feather, and a flashlight. Everything we do is lit by hand, one frame at a time. Light-painting for us is a lifestyle, and this is what we share with our audience. Our work has been presented on the BBC, CNN, MTV, VICE, TEDx and much more. --- About Eric Paré (Instagram: @ericparephoto) Eric Paré is an artist-entrepreneur.
