COLUMBUS, Ohio (WKRC) - The two year legal fight by the former Ohio State band director is over. A federal judge threw out Jonathan Waters’ civil rights lawsuit against the university Friday, August 12. Waters sued the school to try and get back his job. He was fired for ignoring what was called "a sexualized culture" within the marching band. Waters claimed reverse gender discrimination in his lawsuit, but the judge rejected it.
