For sale in our St. Louis showroom is an X22 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS 396. The odometer reads 71,476, but the actual mileage is unknown. Options for this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS 396 include: AM Radio (not currently hooked up), Power Brakes, Power Steering, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Raised White Letter Radial Tires, and Rally Wheels. This 69' Camaro SS was born with a 396, but is now powered by a 5th generation 454 V8 Big Block. This 4 bolt main 454 V8 features: ProComp heads, Crane roller rockers, hydraulic flat tappet cam and lifters with .540 lift and 238/248 duration split (measured at .050), an aluminum intake, Holley 850 CFM carburetor, electric fuel pump and stock points ignition, powder coated valve covers, chrome air cleaner, and factory exhaust manifolds with a GM cross over chambered exhaust system. A TH400 automatic transmission with an Abruzzi 3500 stall converter transfers the 400+ horses to the 10 bolt Posi-Trac rear end that houses 3.73 gears. This big block Camaro likes to go, and go fast! The complete frame off restoration took nearly 3 years to complete on this X22 69' Camaro, and includes nearly all new sheet metal, paint, interior, fuel tank, and fuel and brake lines. The beautiful Lemans Blue paint (base and clear coat), and black vinyl roof are both fresh and look fantastic. The black vinyl interior has a mix of original and new items, combining for a fresh and factory look. The console mounted gauges and horseshoe shifter are an awesome factory option for this Camaro. The Rally wheels are wrapped in BF Goodrich T/A raised white letter radial tires, which provide an awesome look and stance to this classic big block Camaro SS.
