Donate at https://seewinter-3624.wedid.it/ to help save sea turtles. Sea turtle rescue and rehabilitation is a large part of our work here at Clearwater Marine Aquarium.  

While CMA is a family destination, and home of Winter and Hope the dolphins, we are nonprofit organization and working marine animal hospital. We are fortunate to have guests come visit and the financial support that provides us; however, that alone is not enough to fund our mission. We also rely on the generosity of donors to help us care for the animals.

Chex, a small green sea turtle, was found floating off a local beach.  After arriving at CMA and receiving treatments, he began to recover but was still floating.  We then discovered that Chex had swallowed a balloon and ribbon.  Once this passed through his system, he quickly grew stronger. One month later Chex went home!  

So far in 2017, CMA has rescued and released many sea turtles thanks to compassionate supporters like you. On this #GivingTuesday, we hope you will give back by giving to CMA.
