“Violent Dances Fade”, the art project of Stefano Losi,
combines sculptures in bronze and cast glass, visual
works in oils and oxidized metal minerals, and an
epigrammatic Latin poetry.

Following a long series of events organized since the
early 1990s in formal and alternative spaces, ranging
from galleries, to workers unions and social centres,
Stefano Losi’s art has been honoured with different 
solo exhibitions at the United Nations and in 
established galleries worldwide.

Four books collecting his visual art and epigrams 
were published in 1996, 2001, 2010 and 2013. Stefano
Losi’s work has been featured in several international 
publications, among which a book on Italian 
contemporary artists curated by Renato Miracco and 
published under the auspices of the Italian Ministry 
of Foreign Affairs.
