"The Super Friends ran music in the late '90s to the early 2000s...and all still remain one of the most influential groups of artists to shape music. Nowadays, one thing I feel like R&B and soul music really lacks is the power of collaboration. The Super Friends all contributed something so unique and brilliant—and as a force they were magical. I chose to theme my playlist the "Super Friends Clique List", because there are not many groups of folks so talented, so culturally representative of an amazing time in music, and so damn cool. Here are some of my favorites!" - Solange Knowles Video by Francisco Garcia from behind-the-scenes at MNDR's photo shoot with Mick Rock.
