Never got the official reason but the cops (who were actually being really chill and nice for once in the beginning) had a retarded order to not allow porta-a-potties to be unloaded for the Thanksgiving participants to use. They literally blocked the truck and ordered the driver to leave. Though I absolutely can't begin to understand the logic of stopping the participants (some of which were children and elderly) from having a bathroom to use), especially when people have been criticized for public urination/defecation. Anyway, this wasn't exactly you're standard non-violence crowd, and shit was starting to get a little loose. And then it did.
