http://saddleback.com/harveyrelief — Natural disasters are devastating to those who have been affected. But, it’s an opportunity for the Church to put love into action. Let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth. 1 John 3:18 (NIV) Here are three ways you can join us in our mission to care for those that need it most. PRAY Prayer is the most powerful tool we can use right now to help the PEACE Relief efforts of Hurricane Harvey. Here are a few things you can pray. Pray for God to bring good out of this tragedy. And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 Pray for the safe and quick rescue of those who are stranded or need medical attention. Pray for those who have lost everything, that they would be comforted by others with God’s love Pray for the devastated churches. GIVE Your financial gift to Saddleback’s PEACE Relief Fund will go toward strengthening a network of churches throughout the affected area. These churches, along with Saddleback Church volunteers, will begin the long process towards healing and hope. To give, visit saddleback.com/relief.
