Have you ever noticed how much waste there is when you purchase laundry soap? For one, the bottle is never completely full. There is always a large plastic container left over when it is empty. And it seems like the laundry soap is always thin and watery. Well, I decided I was tired of the waste and learned how to make my own laundry soap. The steps are very simple and this recipe will produce a 5 gallon buck of laundry soap for a fraction of the cost in the store. There is also little waste since you reuse the bucket and the ingredients are in cardboard containers. I have been using this recipe for over 10 years and it has served us well. I hope that you too will start making your own laundry soap. Good luck!
