A new group of around 300 El Salvador nationals is heading north towards Guatemala in the hope of eventually reaching the United States. The group left the country's capital, San Salvador on foot on Sunday,  ignoring government warnings about their lives being in danger. They are said to have been inspired by the much larger Honduran caravan which has already reached Mexico and is slowly making its way north towards the US border.
