DIY Easter Chick hairbow (TUTORIAL) CRAFT HOW TO

You will need :
Yellow and Orange 3/8" ribbon
A lined alligator clip
scissors
glue gun
lighter for heat sealing
(1) tiny googly eye
Little bow is optional

Clip your yellow ribbon into (4) pieces. You will need a 3 inch piece, a 3.5" piece, a 4" piece and a 4.5" piece. The yellow will serve as your chicks body.

Heat seal all of your ends with the lighter.

Now fold them (curve and overlap the ends with glue). Do the 3 inch piece first then take your other pieces and wrap them around the 3 inch piece.

Once the body is complete take a small piece of the yellow ribbon and secure the top of the body. Just wrap the ribbon around and secure on the back with glue. (This is where your googly eye will go).

Take a tiny piece of orange and form your beak. Trim so it will fight right on top of your yellow body. (heat seal ends)

Glue the beak to the body top.

Now take another piece of ORANGE and trim it right in the middle. Heat seal all edges and ends. This piece will serve as your chick's legs. You will need to trim it to the desired length. Glue it on the back of your chick's body.

*Optional- Remember the beak? I did this again TWICE and attached them to the legs (feet). Of course, this is optional.

Now you can attach your chick to the clip and add your googly eye!

EASY, Eh?

The little bow I added to my chickie is optional as well. I just made a very small and simple bow and glued it to the top.
