This clip was recorded during a winter storm in Wales on January 17th 2009 shortly after a 77 mph gust blew a tree onto our local power supply that created two blackouts from 4.30pm to 10.23pm GMT on January 17th and from 5.49am to 9.21am GMT on January 18th. The winds were created by an intense Atlantic storm system that created sustained winds of 64mph over Stornoway in the Western Isles and is leaving a winter weather alert across most parts of the United Kingdom
