While medical testing is often a useful tool for diagnosis, it is sometimes harmful and can expose patients to invasive further testing, unnecessary treatment and unwarranted stress. Research efforts are being made in collaboration with Choosing Wisely Manitoba to ensure that testing provides consistent benefit to patients. Learn about the issues related to unnecessary treatment while they discuss their roles in examining this problem to encourage optimal, personalized medical care for the public.
