BLR – Böda [Enormous Tunes – ETR377]

Dutch mastermind BLR is known to surprise with provocative and experimental club music. This fact, of course, brought him onto the map of our label. With releases on labels like Spinnin' Records, Doorn Records or Tiesto's AFTR:HRS, he proofed to have the sound of the future and be a sure shot for some of the worlds best dance imprints.
We were not quite sure what BÖDA means and just googled it. It turns out to be a sand beach resort in Sweden. Wow! 
The music is less tropic than you might expect after knowing this fact. The straight forward beat patterns push the track onwards and with some stripped down melody licks the artist shows that he's able to vary within modern future house and melodic club music and even blend the two sub-genres perfectly.
