DeltaFusion ignites community creativity by bringing the stories of the San Joaquin Delta region of central California - past, present, and future - to life with giant puppets and dramatic pageantry. Using color and sound, DeltaFusion continues to tell the story of how so many cultures were drawn to settle in the area and thrive here today. At any given time over 75 languages can be heard in this region of California.

The DeltaFusion Festival was founded in 2011 by Cathie McClellan, a faculty member of the Theatre Arts Department at the University of the Pacific. An appreciation of the stunning combination of both natural diversity and cultural diversity in the Stockton area of California prompted Cathie to found the DeltaFusion Festival. DeltaFusion host it's community celebration and pageant each summer in Stockton, California. (http://deltafusionstockton.com/)
