The idea of slow but steady European integration has inspired Ukrainians to fight for progressive values, to resist enormous pressure and to eventually win over Ukraine’s elites. This idea mobilized society in support and paid off with the Association Agreement between the EU and Ukraine. Soon, after lots of discussions, the goal of European integration might also be included in Ukraine’s Constitution.
