The VP and Provost of Montgomery College's Germantown Campus, Dr. Sanjai Rai, joined County Executive Isiah Leggett, Dept. of Economic Development Director Steve Silverman and partner representatives from the Federal Laboratory Consortium, Johns Hopkins University and the National Institutes of Health to launch the County's new Gateway to Innovation: Welcome Center for Federal and Academic Technology Transfer. The Center will be located at the Shady Grove innovation Center. The Center will further the effective communication of technology transfer and commercialization as a top priority for Montgomery County's business community.
