Sudanese archaeologists to conduct DNA test on bones from pyramid

Aarchaeologists in Sudan have recovered bones and artefacts from a re-opened ancient pyramid. The items are set to undergo forensic examination, including DNA tests. They were recovered from a Meriotic Pyramid in Bajarawiya, which is a UNESCO Heritage Site. The bones are thought to belong to King Khalmani, who ruled between 207 B-C and 186 B-C. Sudan has almost twice the number of pyramids compared to Egypt. However, they are not as grand.
