The head of the U.S. Federal Reserve says there are signs that the world's largest economy is starting to stabilize. Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke says aggressive actions taken by the U.S. and governments around the world appear to have averted an economic collapse. But he warns economic recovery is likely to be slow.
