The New Albacore Hotel map has joined the map rotation of Splatoon 2, and although it's pretty old news at this point, I decided to record some A-Rank Tower Control matches for today's Ink It Up episode!

In the beginning of this video, I explained that I actually reached the A-Rank off-screen while I was playing Splatoon 2 for my own leisure. Additionally, this episode was actually recorded back in July, and a few other episodes were given priority over this one. But now that this episode is finally available, you can all see me witness the New Albacore Hotel map for the first time as I attempt to play some intense matches of Tower Control!

To me, A-Rank matches are much different than C-Rank or B-Rank matches. I practically flew through C-Rank, and I find that B-Rank players tend to struggle with strategy works best in certain matches. But when it comes to A-Rank matches, I feel confident that each player tends to know what strategy works best, and for that reason, I find that A-Rank matches are almost always intense, exciting, and entertaining! Plus, in this recording, I was also able to experience a new map while playing A-Rank matches in this game for the first time! So, I hope that you enjoy watching them as much as I enjoyed playing them!
