This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. 
Modern society goes through constant change and evolution, often initiated by a single thought or desire for something novel, or a simultaneous emergence of innovative ideas in different circles and locations. In her presentation, Vilislava identifies a new context that will inspire the creation, adoption and demand of an emerging global narrative.

Vilislava Petrova is a trend and colour expert, fashion professor and an established event speaker. 
Vilislava researches cultural and social movements, analysing their relevance and application to the product and fashion industries. Throughout her career, Vilislava has travelled the globe researching emerging and established trends, and consulted on creative direction and colour and trend application for some of the biggest brands and retailers in the world, including Apple, Converse, GAP, Nike, Samsung, Shiseido, Target and Walmart. 
For the past three years, she has shared her unique insights as a teacher in trend and colour forecasting at Parsons The New School for Design in New York City and Paris, and currently leads WGSN Group’s Asia Pacific content creation, managing a team of regional editors and researchers across the region.
