Music and Lyrics by Björn Jakobsson Recorded at Ealsden Digital Studio Skärholmen June 2015 – March 2016 © 2016 Treplektra produktion I was having a meal at Restaurant am Nussbaum gazing at the headlines of Berliner Post It looks like the world will be on fire soon again and that's what worries me most We live in such fragile times nowadays and the future seemed much better yesterday but then up to me came a young blond woman and said: "Hey! Mister Gloomy! Hey ..." Come to me, why worry 'bout tomorrow? Because tomorrow will soon be a today and let's deal with the trouble that might happen then Come let's dance our worries away! Come to me, I'll help you forget your paper If you just will give me a chance Come to me down to the docks tonight and enjoy some forbidden romance." She walked down Fischerstrasse and tried to lure me with her smile She wiggled her butt a little extra in her too familiar style "Come to me, why worry 'bout tomorrow? Let's enjoy our lives and be free! I promise tomorrow you can have your paper back! Come and spend some time with me!" I was smoking my pipe by the fireplace at home at Mittelstrasse Hof 1b Despite good weather I was feeling blue My soul was as cold as the Spree But then I thought of that young blonde woman and what she had told me that day that all your worries can be dealt with at least if you can pay ... "Come to me, why worry 'bout tomorrow? Because tomorrow will soon be a today and let's deal with the trouble that might happen then Come let's dance our worries away! Come to me, I'll help you forget your paper If you just will give me a chance Come to me down to the docks tonight and enjoy some forbidden romance." She walked down Fischerstrasse and tried to lure me with her smile She wiggled her butt a little extra in her too familiar style "Come to me, why worry 'bout tomorrow? Let's enjoy our lives and be free! I promise tomorrow you can have your paper back! Come and spend some time with me!"
