We are less than 1 year away from the 30th Anniversary of the day Voltron:Defender of the Universe debuted on US Television stations. The date was September 10, 1984.

At New York Comic Con, attendees were excited to see the Voltron 30th Anniversary Preview Panel, where Bob Koplar, Vice President of World Events Productions, was on the panel when they announced some of the plans to celebrate Voltron during 2014. One of those plans had already been introduced at a previous panel during NYCC. Robotech and Voltron have joined forces for a Special 6-Issue Comic Book Crossover Series.

ToonBarn's Marc Morrell talked to Bob about the 30th Anniversary Preview Panel, the Robotech/Voltron Crossover Comic, the status of the Live-Action Voltron Movie, and other things that will get the fans excited for next year.
