The "Nuremberg Chronicles" recount the history of the world up until the time of their printing in the 15th century. Smith owns two of these priceless treasures, which are among the most densely illustrated and technically advanced works in early printing. In this video, English lecturer Barbara Blumenthal ’75 examines the Nuremberg Chronicles with her students in her class, "The Art and History of the Book."
