Yep, another Frozen Flames Studio tourney, another lousy AMV by me. Bah, this is BBB all over again (or Hollow. Both were extremely frustrating).
Ya, I know what some of you are thinking.
"Hey Raggs, didn't you already do this song in an FFS beta?"
Well, not really, though I wish it was. Same song title, different artist and...erm...song. At least I had ideas for the Staind song. I had almost nothing good in mind, and to tell you the truth, I still don't have anything good (Shado, no matter the outcome of this round, you're kibble). The story here is quite patchy and I needed FMA's 2nd series and movie to fill in some scenes (you'll notice the slight change in character designs. I also couldn't find those opening scenes textless).
Soooo, for Christmas and my birthday, I got the complete first series of Fullmetal Alchemist. Ugh, I love the series dearly, which is why I hate to start me using it with this AMV. I have a much, MUCH better idea in mind, but I can't put it on Youtube due to WMG.
So, story here is basically with Ed and his friction with his father, Hoenheim. For all of his life, Ed has had a growing hatred for him after he abandoning Ed, his brother, and his mother. Although Ed does take responsibility for his actions, it's pretty easy to shift the blame to poor Hoenheim for the death of their beloved mother. Hoenheim eventually returns, but Ed is anything but welcoming. He feels distant ("so far away") never forgives/forgets what he did. The only time Ed showed any real feelings were towards the end of the series and (as shown here) where Hoenheim sacrifices himself to give Ed an oppertunity to go home (see? You get two angsty Eds in a single AMV. Lucky you...)
