Leslie Merritt, Jr., dubbed the "I-10 Freeway Shooter", has been charged in four of the shootings that occurred on Phoenix-area freeways in late August. There were seven additional freeway shootings at the time of his arrest that he has not been charged with and there have been several more shootings since Merritt has been incarcerated.
