Directed by Helvécio Marins (Brazil, Germany, Spain, 2012). Official Selection International Film Festival Rotterdam 2012. Deep in the hinterland of Brazil, in the sleepy town of São Romão, magic and everyday events are juxtaposed in this beautiful debut to create a loving, dreamy story. Bastu (81) has just lost her husband; the grandchildren and her girlfriend Maria help her to pick up the thread again.
