5 people have been confirmed dead and more than ten others injured following last evening's incident where an oil tanker rammed into a tuk tuk full of passengers at Kachok area Kisumu County. The driver of the tanker that was heading to Kisumu is said to have lost control before hitting a pavement, and crashing . The 8pm accident paralyzed transport along the busy road. Police had to fire in the air to disperse a huge crowd that had milled at the scene. The injured were rushed to Kisumu county hospital.
