Final project in Digital Media class, focuses on human movement. I chose movements that I do on a regular basis. Painting and repairing guitars. The video is really about the despair I feel for not being able to break away from working on guitars. I would just like to make art, but they need me to fix guitars and plus it pays pretty good. I am hoping once I start teaching, to never fix another guitar as long as I live. I may not even string my own guitars! I have done so many guitar repairs in my life that I can string and tune a guitar in about five minutes. I may do a video on that! I have seen some crazy shit that people do to guitars. I have had to clean vomit off of guitars, disgusting finger dirt built up on fret-boards, stickers all over the guitar and other dumb shit. One good thing about doing guitars for the local shop is that I get first dibs, since they haven't been priced yet. This can be a curse too though as sometimes I just can't afford them and hate to let them go! One thing on this video that you may like is the audio track. I did it by placing my camera (Nikon Coolpix) inside the guitar. I then went about detuning and clipping the string as well as restringing the guitars. So all of the sound you hear are of guitar repairs.
