Shannon talks about recent research that has shown the importance of reducing the amount of pesticides in our diet and more importantly the diet of our children! But how can you eat healthily on a budget? The Environmental Working group issues a list each year of the "dirtiest" fruits and vegetables as well as a list of fruits and vegetables that are relatively safe to buy conventionally. These lists are known as the Dirty Dozen and the Clean Fifteen. For more infomation or to view the lists visit: www.ewg.org.
