The Honorable Edward C. Prado was one of six recipients to receive the Texas Exes 2009 Distinguished Alumnus Award on October 9. This video highlights his life and accomplishments. Prado received a BA in 1969 and a JD in 1972 from The University of Texas at Austin. He lives in San Antonio and is a U.S. Circuit Judge with the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals in San Antonio. Prado has long served in government, participated in community and law-related organizations, and traveled extensively to teach others about our legal system.
