Christopher de Vries grew up in a Europe without borders. During his youth and as a starting architect he has profoundly profited from the mobility and diversity Europe has to offer. After having the chance to study infrastructural design in case studies around the world, through a position at MIT and Harvard, Chris developed a deep appreciation for the cultural significance of infrastructure. At TEDx Haarlem Chris de Vries will share the visions and experiences he is developing at the European Infrastructure Lab, a public platform where designers from across Europe collaborate on making Europe's biggest collective project more public through design agency.
