In a shock for all Assamese people, this year too Assam's tableau will give a miss for the annual Republic Day parade. 
The Union Defense Ministry has rejected Assam's tableau saying the theme doesn't actually match with the real event. 
It seems now people of Assam are now getting used to the continuous absence of the tableau from the parade show.
