Aston Microphones burst onto the scene at last year's NAMM — this year, they've returned with their new Starlight mic. Its vintage aesthetics belie clever, innovative engineering -- its voicing switch uses front-end active filtering between the capsule and the first stage of the PCB, and its ingenious onboard laser allows for accurate placement of a mic every time.
