JD Maverick: In January 2009, Danyluk changed his ring name to "J.D. Maverick", and formed a team known as Top Shelf Talent with Pat Buck. In their first match as a team, they defeated Tony Mann and Hog Wild.[21] They continued to wrestle teams including Knuckles and Knives (Johnny Punch and Rudy Switchblade) and Tilo and Shiloh for the next few months.[22][23] On April 22, Top Shelf Talent defeated Fang and Igotta Brewski and Totally Awesome (Sucio and Kamikaze Kid) in a three-way match to win the OVW Southern Tag Team Championship.[24][25] The pair held the championship for 49 days, before losing it to Totally Awesome on June 10.[25] Darsow: In late 2008, he signed a developmental contract with World Wrestling Entertainment and was sent to compete in Florida Championship Wrestling.[8][9] He debuted under his real name in a surprising win over Ian Richardson. He would go on to change his name to Maverick Dakota and wrestled under that name for over a month. He competed in six-man tag team matches, with Brett DiBiase and Tank Mulligan as his tag team partners, losing to Lawrence Knight, Kaleb O'Neal and Tyson Tarver, but defeating Tristan Delta, Derrick Bateman, and Abraham Washington.[10] In march he would change his name to Barry Allen.
